So my husband only has one sister. She is 18 months older than him (2 year older than me) and she has been not too nice to me lately. On and off she has always been like this but never this bad. I am a hairstylist and we used to work together, she was the receptionist at the salon. I quit with notice but didn’t give a two weeks. I came in on a Sunday when we were closed, cleared out my room and left my key and a note. Now I know that sounds shitty reading it but let me give you some background on the owner of the salon. It was passed on to him from his uncle. The policy at the salon is you don’t get a two weeks the walk you out at the end of your shift of earlier if they don’t need you. I was there for 3 years and I have never hated a job so much. The boss was verbally abusive all the girls quit cuz of him or I hate to say it, cuz of my sister in law. The owner threw a blow dryer at me once cuz he was mad that a co worker misplaced something. He went out of his way to yell at me in front of clients and he was not professional at all, like he was very inappropriate. I hated it every single day. I didn’t tell my sister in law I was quitting because she likes the owner, she flirts with him constantly (she has a bf too) and now that I quit she hasn’t talked to me since. We had their moms side Christmas and she hugged my husband when she arrived and when she left but not me and didn’t say a single word to me the whole time. I text her and see she reads it cuz we both have iPhones and she wont respond. She bought a new house and had a housewarming party and I told my husband I refuse to go somewhere where we don’t know her friends and she won’t talk to me. Idk what else to do anymore. I’m sick of her attitude. She’s always been a one upper and I am worried when we have kids she will try to steal our thunder like after we got married she decided to buy this huge house with her bf and it’s her first home. She always has something to brag about and throw in our faces cuz her bf has money and they get to do so many things that we don’t. I just don’t want to talk to her anymore and that bothers me cuz we used to have frozen yogurt dates and go shopping together all the time now we never see her. I’m so frustrated with it! Help!
