Life is too short...
I came to the hospital at 7:30am Monday January 7th for a scheduled C-section at 39 +1. Everything happened as routine(just as previous C-section). I was prepped and my amazing sister got on her blue smurf costume. Baby was delivered! Perfect healthy little girl 7lbs 1oz. While in recovery my sister kept telling the nurse something didn’t feel right. Nurse replied she just needs more fluids. As soon as my Ob came back to check on me he yelled “call the OR we need to go back in STAT!” My sister crying while holding her new niece could only sit there in disbelief! She said she never realized how bad it was til they had her

sign a form to take on full responsibility of my three girls! I was put into a medically induced coma and had an additional 2 surgeries within 24 hours! It was touch and go for a few days as I needed 6 blood transfusions. I lay here in this hospital bed tonight

wishing I could be home with my 3 girls but deep down I know I’m where I need to be. Waiting for additional tests tomorrow to find out if I need dialysis and if something is wrong with my heart. How do I ever find a way to show my appreciation towards my sister?
