I’m due 1/16 but I haven’t dilated at all so doctor schedule an induction for 1/23. Anyone else being induce? Is there anything I should know?

I’m due 1/22 but they won’t let me go full term bc of my age. So I’m getting a sweep tomorrow and scheduling an induction.

I'm due 1/17 and 2 cm dilated for past 2 weeks.  My doctor hasn't said anything about induction yet. My next appointment is on my due date.

I was induced with my first, I had a great labor delivery. Went in at 730am, had him at 1004pm same day. Inductions tend to go smoother post due date rather than prior (that’s what my OB said) because your body is more ready to have the baby. My friend was induced a week before due date (bloodwork came back bad) and it took 3 days for her. Everyone is different, just try to rest as much as you can before hand and be flexible with how long it takes.

I’m due on the 17th but scheduled for an induction on the 24th if he doesn’t come on his own. They’re having me go in at 1am and start Misoprostol. They’ll let that work for the day then start Pitocin later that day or the next day. I hear it’s a lot of waiting around in bed, so bring things to keep busy and stay comfy since it can be a long process

I’m due on the 16th, but getting a c-section tomorrow. I’m having a repeat c-section. With my first my water broke, so they put me on pitocin. I’d just say be ready for a long day (even though it may not be).
