3 weeks pp heavy bleeding

I had my babygirl 12/24/18 today (Monday) I’m 3 weeks pp the bleeding was a little heavy at first then got really light then turned into spotting , for the last 2-3 days I’ve had heavy bleeding like I’ve never filled a pad before u till now , it’s like I’m on my period ? Heavy bleeding with cramps like cramps that hurt to the point I stop what I’m doing to concentrate on them is this normal or should I make a trip to the er ? I’ve been on google and google leads me to thinking the worse of the worse like they left a pieceof placenta in me or I’m having hemorrhaging or something
