Instead of ✈️ , is 🚙 any better for a trip?

Hubby and I would like to do one last trio trip before our additional peanut arrives. Our desired destination is 6 hours away when driving. Have any of you ladies been told it’s not ok when being 8 months?

Long road trips are also not advised when you’re that pregnant, and most airlines wouldn’t let you fly. My cap was 30 weeks for domestic flights.

I'm doing a road trip for a conference at 27 weeks (earlier than you'll be for your trip) and it's 6 hours. Same for a flight, get up and walk frequently, lots of water. See if you can break up the drive. When you stop, get up and walk around for 5-10 minutes. Of course talk to your doc. I'm already on blood thinners for pregnancy induced clots, so I'm super paranoid.

That’s a pretty easy drive if you’re willing. You wouldn’t have to worry about packing too much or being turned away from a flight. I don’t like road trips, they’re daunting to me, but I’d drive this one. My husband also drives a lot for work (he’s currently 5 hours from home) six hours wouldn’t be a big deal to him.

I would fly just because it’s faster. I flew at 35 weeks and the cut off was 36 weeks. I just needed a note stating my due date, but they never asked for it
