Stopped taking my birth control

I stopped taking my birth control the last week on November, because that’s when my last period was, and I didn’t have any more BC. Well I was off of it for about a week, and I got my new pack. I took the first two days of it, because my dr said it was ok to do so, but I don’t like the feeling of all my hormones going all crazy, so I stopped taking it again. Me and my bf have been sexually active, and I didn’t get my period at all during Dec. at 11 days late I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. But I still haven’t gotten my period, and I’m almost 23 days late. But my period is suppose to come on Sunday. Do I take another test or wait to see if it comes on Sunday?
