Shaving your daughters head?

Would you ever shave your daughters head if she got headlice?

My cousins daughter got head lice and instead of picking her head he shaved it...didnt leave any hair its like to her scalp!!!! Where i live schools just started to allow kids with head lice to be at school. His poor daughter is already picked on so much and i feel like this is going to make it so much worse for her.

His mom just passed away but before she died, she did everything for this poor little girl while her dad slept all day and ignored her. She took her to school, made her meals, picked her up from school, bought her new clothes. Now that his mom is gone and no longer able to take care of his daughter hes had to "step up" and hes not doing the best!!!
