Is it normal to labor in your back?

I'm having really bad back pain from last night up until now. My due that is this Saturday.

Yes normal! In my birthing class they said that might mean that she is “sunny side up” (like with her back toward your back instead of toward your belly). 
So you might want to spend some time leaning forward - over a ball or over the back of a chair with a pillow, etc.

Yesss that how I went into labor . I was 6cm dilated when I went to hospital from back pains . I had her the next day

Yeah my nurse advised me that for some people back labor is a thing. She said you can tell if it’s actual labor if it doesn’t lessen when you change positions.
