I'm a ftm and of course I'm nervous about the upcoming arrival of our little girl. My doctors havent mentioned much of anything but I do have an appt this Friday and was wondering if there are any questions I should be asking them at this point in time. I have no idea what it truly means to have a natural birth or a c section. I know that I cant have the epidural due to medical, but I'm not sure of my other options for pain management. What are the chances of having to be induced or an emergency c section taking place? How will I know the baby is ready to come or what type of symptoms I should expect following contractions etc. I have no idea what to pack in a baby bag, I have no clue who will be delivering my baby or when a birth plan should be set in place. I have GD so there are worries about a larger baby, though I'm carrying pretty small. But could I potentially face other issues during labor because of GD? My point I guess is that I have so many questions and I'd like answers from my doctor but experiences as well might help settle my nerves a bit. Maybe..lol. Realizing how close I'm getting has my anxiety peaking. 🙄
