Would u stop TTC for someone else’s benefit?

So me & my partner have been trying since Sep 2018, we’ve been together nearly 4 years , we live together and he means the world to me, all we want is to start a family together and Iv put it off for years because I wanted to start my career as a hairdresser first and wanted to have my own place(I do now), I’m 21 and he’s 26.. Another girl I work with who’s more of a salon junior / receptionist(she’s 22) has a nearly 2 year old and she’s just announced she’s pregnant recently, she’s due 9th April so she found out pretty late... she’s not in the best relationship(cheats on her regularly and doesn’t help with their little boy etc), I was pretty annoyed as it obviously wasn’t planned and I feel like I’m torn between still TTC or delaying it as id feel selfish on my boss if we was both on maternity at same time , there are only 4 of us including my boss who work in the salon and only 3 of us actually do clients(hairdressers) so I think it would cause financial problems for her.. it would take anything between 1-16months for me to get pregnant or longer so I’d like to know other people’s opinions or if anyone’s had similar experiences within the work place?
