When will/did you turn the car seat around

We’re leaving our daughter rear facing until she maxes out the rear facing limits of her seat. So that will be either 50lbs or 49”
Bones mature with age not size so it’s safest to leave them rear facing as long as possible; not just whatever the legal limit is.

It’s illegal to forward face before 2 years, at least where I’m at, but I’ll keep my son rear facing until he outgrows the height restrictions on his seat for rear facing.

I wanted to keep my son rest faving longer than 2 yrs but him getting car sick all the time wasnt worth it. Even his ped recommended turing him forward facing. Doesnt happen nearly as often now

I changed the car seats around when my kids hit the max weight for rear facing in their specific carseats. One was 2.5, One was 3.5.

Until she meets the height/weight requirements to forward face. I'll rear face her until shes 4 if I have to. (Shes small for her age)
