God after he had created all things on the earth decided to do something grand. He decided to make man. But not only that, he wanted us shaped and existing in his image. How awesome is that? That our God saw fit for us to be in his image and to have dominion over his other creations. Now, when most people think on this scripture they think well he meant caucasian, African, Arabic, etc people. But they couldn't be any farther from the truth! He wasn't talking about the flesh of man being shaped in his image. God was talking about the spirit of man. He gave us part of his and shaped our flesh around it. That is why we are told that our bodies are temples. Because we house part of God inside of us. That breath of life. Its within us, we just have to keep it fed with the word of God. Let this be something we meditate on we are struggling with whatever it may be. Let it be that we remember that we have God on the inside of us.
