First move/ is he interested?? HELLPP😧

Ok soo... there’s this guy in my class and like I only see him for 1 class and like sometimes I’ll like look over and catch him looking at me but it’s kinda almost like a blank stare but right as I look back at him he looks away and he sometimes smiles at me. One day when we were in class together I was raising my hand to answer the question and my teacher then got interrupted by another teacher and he said in like a joking tone “put your hand down this is MY question” and then we just kinda kept joking like that for awhile. I haven’t talked to him in a long time. So should I like TALK😗 to him??? Are these signals saying he’s interested in me or something??
