Hormonal assistane

So me and my husband are ttc with a second baby. I have a son from a previous relationship but I was given provera for my period to regulate itself and got pregnant that way. That was almost 10 years ago. Me and my husband have been together 2 years and started trying. Does that mean I might need to go on provera again or should we just keep trying natually?
