Normal for 4 month old to take nap every hour?

My 4 month old naps every hour and a half to 2 hours during the day for about 30-45 minutes. Is this normal? Should I space them out more?

Mine napped every 2-3 hours around that age. Let them sleep. They need it. You won't really have a good sleep regimen for them until they are older. ❤️

You can start to work into a schedule. So you pick a schedule based on their natural cycle. You could aim for baby being awake for an hour in between naps. It can be difficult until closer to 6 months though. Sleep is developmental for babies so there is no need to change their natural cycle until you’re ready for a schedule.
