Big baby???

Question

I'm 17 weeks and 4 days, but according to my ultrasound baby is measuring 19 weeks exactly. Also doctor mentioned his abdominal girth was slightly larger then it should be, and further testing needed to be done. Anyone had this before? Just curious to see why.

When I went to my last appointment, (16 weeks 4 days) on the ultrasound screen I saw that my doctor was measuring my baby's length from crown to rump was 5.5 inches. I thought to myself that's a little big for only 16 weeks but I didn't say anything to him, and he didn't say anything to me. I figure either she is just growing really well or I'm slightly further along but I'll wait until my next appointment. After doing a bit of research I figured I should've mentioned something to him, but he wasn't concerned as he said that she is growing very well and is active. You either have a big baby on your hands or you really are a bit further along! 😄
