What's better?

I haven't had my sons pictures taken since he was born and we are expecting baby number 2 and I can't decide I think I may get a few done but not many... Idk I see so many people put so much money towards it like my family member she always gets her kids pictures taken multiple times a year idk does this make me a bad mom for doing the photos myself? I did the gender reveal and the pregnancy announcement myself with my son.

I think it's important to get family portraits done at least once a year.  They don't have to be expensive either.  I go to a local photographer who has her own studio and she only charges like $40. She gives you a disk with 20+ pictures and you can take them to Walmart and get them printed, or use them online, whatever.

I don't think it's *as important* to get multiple pictures done of kids every season or holiday, just because most people take tons of pics daily of their kids.. But they're still fun haha. Our photographer does "mini sessions"each holiday for only $25.

So I suggest just finding someone local that does a great job for an affordable price, you may wish you had more family portraits in like 20 years :)

JCPenney always does a good job and they are not expensive. I mean it you wanted someone else to do it. Haven't had any problems. Pics turned out super cute.
