Y’all help me out here... my son will be 21 months old when my daughter is born. My brother in law (husbands brother) is getting married 3 hours away, 3 days before my due date. My in laws keep saying they’re going to take my 21 month old with them to the wedding and I can just stay home in case the baby comes. I don’t want to do that! I think my son needs to stay home with me... they’ll have the rehearsal dinner one night and the wedding the next so it will be very late nights. and all their family will be coming in from out of state so I’m sure they’ll not want to leave any event early to make his 7pm bed time (not to mention they don’t even put him down for naps now and he’s only 16 months old). Also... they’re not going to fully enjoy their oldest sons wedding if they’re just running around looking after a toddler and adhering to his needs all night... right?! Anyways, am I being unreasonable? Would you send your 1 year old off?
