How many of you are getting a new or used?

For my daughter, my mom bought one of those forever cribs that becomes a toddler/day bed and then a full size bed.

I reuse the crib I bought for my eldest (5yo). It's still in great condition. I just buy a new mattress for each baby.

I would buy second hand. People are rich in my area and buy $800 cribs and sell then off a couple years later in perfect condition for $50. No way I could afford a crib new at that price.

Just be wary of drop rails. They are illegal to sell and re-sell, I believe.

Bought used for my first and used for this one. I get way bigger bang for my buck. We just bought an almost pristine $650 crib for $150. There's no way I could have gotten something half as beautiful brand new.
