Can i shower immediately after sex?

So today is the day of my highest peak in ovulation and i was able to meet with my donor an "do the do" lol, of course i had my preseed and things are complete my only question is its been about 30 mins since i want to shower an im scared i will wash it all out ... am I just being a little extra right now or should i wait ? 🤦🏾‍♀️🤔😂 my girlfriend told me to ask you all cause she doesnt know.

Sperm get to where they need to be in seconds. You may have some leak out, but that’s normal. Enough get up there. You should also pee afterwards to prevent infection and absolutely can shower after as well.
