Sooooo this will be my second child, and I was really excited about it at first. But right when I get pregnant, I’ve being seeing more and more posts about how black women are 4x more likely to die of child birth. It’s literally not what you want to see as a black pregnant woman. And it doesn’t help that I’m overweight. Don’t get me wrong, I was black and overweight the first time too, but I didn’t know these statistics... I wasn’t scared at all. The whole thing is giving me real anxiety.
