Y’all! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I am so frustrated! Yesterday LO didn’t move much so I called into L&D this morning at 6am. They told us all we can do is come in to Triage and get checked and monitored. Wanting to be safe than sorry, we drive the hour and a half to hospital. We get here like around 10:30am. They tell me my blood pressure is suddenly hypertension and we gotta induce! 😬 We was so hoping for our little girl to come on her own as I absolutely dread and hate pitocin! They checked me and I was at a 3cm and still 50% effaced (from 3 weeks ago.) So here I am strapped down to the bed cause their telemetered monitors keep dying 🤦🏼‍♀️ and their birthing balls are all for short folk. Lol. DH ran to Walmart to get me another birth ball so I can labor on it once the telemetered monitors are charged. This labor and delivery is going sideways compared to our “hoped for” birth plan LOL! I guess by now I should know and be cool with “birth plans are just that... plans.” I will be glad to get off this rock that they call a bed 😂 My tailbone is killing me! I’m still just thankful to finally be able to say it’s our turn to welcome the one and only little lady to our family of 3 boys. 💖 Hope to post back this evening of our new addition!
