I'm 34+4weeks. Found out today that at my next appointment I have to get swabbed and he's going to check for dilation.

I mean, I knew this was coming but I'm still super nervous. I've never had any check like this before. Never been to a gynecologist or had any testing like this. It makes me very uncomfortable. I don't have anxiety but this is making me super uneasy. And I still have 2 weeks until it even happens.

Logically I know there's nothing to it. And I absolutely trust my doctor. But I still can't wrap my head around it. I guess im just looking for some affirmation that I'm not being too ridiculous. And hopefully someone else has felt this way? Idk. I need encouragement. 🤷

just Googled the strep swab. It says vagina and rectum!??? Guys, I'm freaking the fuck out. 😭😭😭
