Genetic screening

So we did the genetic screening because fiancé wanted to I was fine either way and I got a call back today saying I tested positive for Down syndrome. She said it doesn’t mean that the baby has it but that there’s a higher risk. Chances are more like 1/50 instead of 1/900 in non tested 30 year old women. Really wish I wouldn’t have had the screening done now. I’ve been pregnant 4 other times. My first baby has a severe heart defect and had to have many surgeries, my second turned out healthy as a peach, and my third had hydrocephalus and died after hitting his head while playing (Wednesday will be his one year death anniversary) and the last pregnancy ended ectopic. I honestly feel like I shouldn’t be making babies because most of mine turn out with harder lives than most children or they die. The odds are never in our favor my children’s diseases are rare and they end up getting them anyways. Yea I’ll love this baby too but the chances of miscarriage for downs baby is 25%. The chances of neural tube defects are higher and same with heart defects. With those come surgeries and with surgeries come more risk of dying. I just really hope this one turns out healthy. I’m tired of seeing my children suffer.
