Growth Scan??

Question

At around 35 weeks how much did your baby weigh???? Really curious because my doctor doesn’t do them and I feel like my baby is going to come early so just trying to prepare myself.

Well I had my second growth scan today! I’m 34+5 and baby boy was estimated in the 37th percentile at 5lbs 4oz which dr was happy with. However his head is 99th percentile so he will had a big ol brain haha! At our last growth scan at 33 weeks he was only 3lbs 6oz so he had quite a growth spurt!

I honestly don’t know because they were way off on my sons weight. He was predicted to be 9-10 pounds and I had him at 39 weeks and he was just barely 7 pounds.

6lb13oz. Which would put him around 9lbs at birth which is what I expected. But they can be up to 2 lbs off in either direction so I wouldn’t put all my trust in them.

I've heard when they guess the weight it is usually pretty inaccurate.

My doctor only does them if there are complications. I had pre eclampsia so I had one done at 35 weeks. Baby boy measured 7lbs then and they took him early at 
37 w 0d and he weighed 7lbs 15oz.
