How long did you wait to TTC after your miscarriage?

I  miscarried  in March of this year; due date was October 4, 2015. I am now 9 weeks pregnant, due April 4th? My OB told me not to worry too much, your body won't get pregnant until it is ready.

It has taken my body over a year to heal after this miscarriage. This was number 8 for me. No kids, but at least I can conceive. But my PA never bothered to send me to an OB or any specialists till this last time. I have low progesterone and a clotting disorder. Hoping this time once we get pregnant I'll go full term.

We r now trying after 8 months. I would have been due august 13th. Which ironically I should be ovulating on that day

My midwife said to wait a cycle, too, but when I asked if there was a medical reason, she said no! Apparently having a mc can make cycles irregular for awhile, so it messes up dating the day of conception. That said, I've read so many conflicting things online, so who knows!

Mine said to just wait til I got a period, which I did. On my 11th cycle after it so far!

From my experience, it depends on how far along in the pregnancy you were when you miscarried. For my miscarriage at 5-6 weeks, I was told to wait one cycle to let my body regulate. For my miscarriage at 15-16 weeks, I was told to wait at least three cycles to let my body heal. We waited six months because I wasn't ready and I am still a nervous wreck. I also have battled with feeling like when we get pregnant again, everyone will forget about the baby that we lost.

I got preg right away after mc #1 and then had another one, so I strongly recommend letting your body recover a month or 2.  Just my experience.

My midwife told me to wait 6 months, i think that because the period after MC irregluar. And that what happen with me recently it come regualar after 7 month

My miscarriage was very early (less than 5 weeks), so my doctor's office told me I could try again right away
