How did your water break ??

Mine was a gush. I had my son 30 minutes later. I didn’t know I was in labor until my water broke. I stood there crying because I thought I peed myself 🤣

It started out as a slow leak, and when I got up on the table to be examined later that day, it came pouring out in a huge gush.

Mine didn't break on it's own. I was 8cm when the doctor broke it.
It's actually pretty common that it doesn't break until later in labor. It can cushion things for the baby during contractions.

I was induced, so they broke my waters for me and it gushed out!

Little trickle at first, wasn’t sure if I peed myself. Then boom flood gates opened!

Mine started as a trickle. I was sitting on a birth ball bouncing so I honestly thought I had peed lol. Since I wasn’t sure I went to my OB, they used a test strip didn’t get a good enough result so I had to take my pants off again to retest and as I bent over the flood gates opened. I think it’s different for everyone, I wasn’t expecting it because they practically drilled it in my head not count on it happening. 🤷🏼‍♀️
