Disability before the baby comes (California) question
So I live in California and I totally just learned that we apparently can take 4 weeks off before the baby comes (through disability). I am thinking about doing this since I’ve been super uncomfortable lately (I’m currently 30w4d) and the thought of having to work for 2 more months makes me want to cry. Anyone else taken advantage of this before and if so what was your experience/reasons for doing so? Did your doc just sign off no questions asked or does there need to be an actual “disability” apart from the pregnancy? Is being pregnant (without any other complications) enough to qualify??
