Yeast infection help :(

Maria • Married 💍 young mom of 👦🏻👧🏻👶🏻💕

I’ve been recently prone to getting yeast infections since my second trimester & I’m so over it. I got prescribed cream & it went away for 2 seconds. Then I used monistat and it didn’t help. So I’m wondering if apple cider vinegar or literally any other hone remedy will help.

I’m just completely over the pain and everything else so if you have any remedies PLEASE leave them down below!

I read about soaking a tampon in ACV and sticking it up there for 20 minutes, but Idk 🙃

You need to get a probiotic that supports good vagina flora. Cut out sugars as much as you can. Be aware that you and your partner can pass thrush back and forwards. Try and sleep naked, or with loose pants to get good ‘air’ time.

I have a bad reaction to the creams and stuff. I find relief by soaking a washcloth in warm salt water and just holding it against my lady bits. salt kills yeast. it stings at first but then the itching and irritation go away. at home I try to go underwear-less with loungewear (think loose shorts or pants) to get some air flow. I also agree about probiotics and sugar...find a good yogurt you like that is low in sugar. good luck. it sucks when you're pregnant and have one because your body can't fix itself with a period:/

Dont do the ACV tampon thing unless its very diluted. Are you positive its a yeast infection?

Yes I’m I unfortunately positive. I got one last month and got swabbed and diagnosed. Then my OB sent in cream and all was well for a week or so and now it’s back. Exact same symptoms and feeling as before. & I’m scared to try the tampon thing I probably won’t do it it seems weird and risky lol
