My daughter is 6 weeks and formula fed, how many oz per feeding did your LO eat at this age ? I’m a little worried she’s not eating enough but she was also a late term preemie born at 35 weeks

My son drinks 6 oz and he is 7 weeks old

My daughter was born at 32+4 and at 6 weeks I was giving her 2-3oz.  Because she was premature I tried to stick with the guidelines for her weight but she was always demanding more so I was told to give her what she wanted.  If your lil one is hydrated and gaining weight I don’t think you need to worry just give her the amount she wants.

My dr. Told me the following equation that has been really helpful:
Weight in kilos*180 divided by 30 — this will tell you how many ounces they need to consume in a day to continue gaining weight. I feed my guy (6weeks) 7 times a day so I divide that number by 7 to get how much he should consume in a feeding. 
This is just an estimate so if he eats more or less that’s fine with me it’s just be nice to have a number to know that we are in track.

My son is 6 weeks and breastfed but has expressed and formula at night. He has 5oz expressed followed by 6oz 2 hours later at 10pm just before he goes to sleep. I think he weighs about 10 and a half pounds so more the size of 8 weeks old
