We didn't have sex on our honeymoon, at all. He was trapped in a cabin with me for three days and I was too angry to even try. In terms of sex being important? Millions of couples, present and past, have sexless relationships - some don't have a sex drive, some just choose not to, some it's painful for, some don't have "working parts", among other reasons - and they can be just as healthy and fullfilling as a relationship with sex. What society expects from you as a couple may not be what works for your relationship and that's perfectly okay! Navigate it together and always communicate what you want and how you feel.
