Hey all!

I was wondering when is the best time to tell work?

Back story - we waited to try untill things were reasonably stable ( I work a casual position which means they can cut my shifts easily) I was getting full time hours and had been assured I would continue to do so.

Long story short that didn't work out, I did find a new job , same company different branch. Agian it's casual but much less staff and I'm rostered full time. I found out officially I was preganant the day I found out I had got the position.

I'm so torn do I tell them before 12 weeks for transparency or do I wait untill I'm a bit more sure things are okay and progressing ?!

Would love all advice people are willing to give.

Also just to note because it's a different branch I essentially start again so I won't be entitled to paid or unpaid maternity leave so I'm really hoping to approach this in a way that will help protect my position other than working my butt off which I'm doing !
