How many times do you pick up after your kids?

How many times throughout the day do you clean up after your kids? I feel like I’m constantly doing it and it makes me so angry how dirty it gets. I “bitch” constantly. I have 3 expecting #4

I know this is mean but when I was little my mom would tell us and tell us to pick stuff up and at the end of the day she would give us 30 minutes to pick stuff up and if we didn’t pick it up it got threw away. It’s mean but we eventually learned that if she said pick it up we had better pick it up or it was getting threw away 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s life with kids. You can tell them and tell them and they’re still gonna leave stuff laying around, especially with 3 kids. 
It’s frustrating but that’s what it’s like being a mom.

Hmm, I don't count but my son is 6 and old enough to put away his things. I don't like our house to be a toy world so the rule is he has to put away what he is playing with before he can get something else out. Works well, we did this when he was a toddler too. I've been to people's houses and their kids stuff overtakes everything. Doesn't teach children to respect their belongings and it gets dangerous, tripping over stuff.

Too. Many. Times! My kids were spoiled, I did everything for them u til like a year ago. Now they are finally picking up their own stuff and helping me around the home with easy things like walking the dogs and clean their own bathroom etc. My kids are 9 and 10 so it's about time haha.

I have cut my picking up down to twice a day. The first happens at my sons afternoon nap and then right after his bath for what toys he got out. I used to pick up all the time but it got to be too much. Now my house stays a tornado until 3:00 and after that it’s not too bad just a couple things here and there.
