Went in for our 12 week appointment today and found that we lost one of our twins. It didn’t develop past 9 weeks.

The other twin was looking great until the doctor told us the nuchal fold was measuring at 5mm which is twice the size of ‘normal’.

Being sent to a fetal medicine doctor next week for a level 2 screening to check for other abnormalities and they completed a blood draw today to check for chromosomal abnormalities.

Has anyone else been through something like this?

Not sure which to really process first, the loss of one baby or the possibility of something going on with the other.

A little background: I have already lost one baby at about 8 weeks. Then went on to have a beautiful and healthy baby girl who is 13months.
