Trying to figure out what kind of doctor I should be.

Definitely agree with the other commenter, it’s hard to know what kind of doctor you want to be unless you experience the environment first hand! Shadow a few, volunteer in a hospital, etc.

I’m in the process of taking my certification for Medical Assistant. I’ve been medical assistant and now a receptionist (I hate it) I worked for a obgyn and I liked it because women felt more comfortable talking to other women with there issues. It was also a small practice. 
I would love and try to work with Peds but I would be nervous. 
I work for a gastroenterologist and diabetologist or know as endocrinologist and it’s hard because a lot of people don’t speak.  I can’t help them if they don’t tell me. It’s really a lot of older people and I’m reception but really want to be clinical. 
I work for a big medical group which one of our local hospitals are taking over. 
I fell that there are not many gastroenterologist, diabetologist and neurology. 
But it’s your choice.... it’s your future.

Im not a doctor but on my unit, as nurses we have the option to become certified endoscopy procedural nurses and perform basic gastroscopies and colonoscopies 
I work in an Endoscopy Day Procedure unit (its under gastroenterology)

You should shadow a couple of them. I shadowed my best friend who is a PA-C, and I realized that I want to just do general practice but I actually want my MD.
