I loved high school. Lol. My teachers were great and I had great friends and was successful in extra curricular activities.

I hated High school so much that I refused to walk across the stage at graduation. The time involved doing so wasn't worth it to me if it meant I was 100% done a little earlier.

Junior, and it’s the worst ever. I know for a FACT I’m not gonna miss it. Been ready to graduate since I came out of the womb

It wasn’t always easy, but I was pretty involved and genuinely cared about getting good grades. Really the only thing I regret kinda was not letting boys like me and not ever going to a dance with a date, but like I had trust issues involving men, so I just wasn’t ready to let anyone in until college.🤷‍♀️ Other than that, I have pretty fond memories. Stayed out of drama and just did what I wanted to do, not what everyone else was doing. Cheer was kinda rough though because it began to be like anyone could join and so it became less competitive which was lame for me and just went downhill through the years and its a complete disaster now lol. My first year of college was waaay worse than any other time in school.

Yes! I enjoyed my time in high school, my family is dysfunctional so I was very involved in school. My school wasn't cliquey, we grew up in what's now a vacation mecca, and it was a pretty tight nit community where everyone at least "knew of" everyone. I'm pretty sure I made history by being the first black cheerleading captain in the schools history. This year will be my 10 year reunion!
