I did! First IVF cycle. I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve, husband sperm is perfect. Retrieved 4 eggs. 3/4 eggs matured and fertilized. Only one made it to blastocyst stage. Definitely felt discouraged but we ended up with a positive pregnancy test! Best of luck

That’s great! May I know what exactly you had to do for IVF, is it painful treatment?

I did Started process in January, had 7 eggs retrieved on March 5th, 5 fertilized and transferred 2 embabies March 9th. I’m currently 39 years old and tomorrow I’ll be 10 weeks 🤗🤗. We have been trying to convince for 8 years with the hubby and with a little science we will be parents to two beautiful babies in November 😬😬Trust me every shot and procedure is worth it when you know the blessing you’ll get at the end ♥️❤️Good luck if you decide to go through it.

I have a blocked tube and climaxing is not a problem for me then again the tubes do not dictate the sensation it’s your cervix

That’s amazing! We got 30 eggs out and ended up with 11 blasts and of those we had 8 tested and 5 are normal transfer quality. We only want the one!!

Thank you so much for this information. I'm 33 and will be starting ivf within the next 1-2 months. I recently had surgery due to endo and my left ovary and fallopian tube had to be removed. I'm currently in my 3rd week post surgery. I need to wait to heal before we can start ivf. I'm so excited

We were successful three times in a row. We did egg retrieval May 2017.28 - eggs retrieved (I hyperstimulated, very unpleasant)14 - eggs fertilized via ICSI17 - three-day blasts11 - five-day blasts made it4 - genetically normal embryos from PGS\PGD testing - spend the ~$2k on this if you bother doing IVF so you don’t transfer a genetically abnormal embryo that will likely miscarryWe did FET of 3BB embryo June 2017 - healthy baby boy March 2018 😍We did FET of 3BB embryo November 2018 - healthy baby girl August 2019 😍We just did a third FET of 2BC embryo October 2020 - now 10 weeks, due July 2021😍Having just done our third transfer and gotten three home runs now, we are SO thankful to our Doctor and to science for even being able to do this - and we are SO thankful we did the PGS testing to weed out the abnormal embryos that are not viable for life - they send you and your Dr a report of the specific abnormalities - and it was worth every penny to not unknowingly transfer an abnormal embryo.Lessons learned:1. Really take care of your body, diet and mind 30-60 days leading up to retrieval so you get best egg quality possible - this is the top factor in embryo quality2. Go to the 5-day blast stage to ensure strongest embryos that are fit for survival3. Do PGS testing to eliminate abnormal embryos not viable for life (7 of our 11 were not viable for life) - a chromosomally normal embryo is the key indicator in viability for life over visual lab tech “grade”. 4. Do FET over fresh transfer - DO NOT rush. You can wait one more month. This allows your body, mind and uterus to recover and calm down from all the stimulation hormones. It also allows you to do the PGS testing. It’s also a final layer of assurance of embryo strength and resiliency - if it can survive the freeze-thaw process, it is a hearty embryo, and will keep up the good fight in uteroGood luck to all of you, keep up the positive attitude!(And thank you to Emory Reproductive Center in Atlanta for being the miracle workers that they are!)
