I’m 11 weeks 5 days and I’ve had uncomfortable burning when I wipe for the past few days, yesterday I had bright red spotting. I went to the doctor and they did a urine test. They said all looks fine besides finding trace amounts of blood in it. I went for an emergency ultrasound and baby is fine, strong heartbeat and active.

The nurse that saw me before the doctor said it’s probably just a UTI, but when the doctor came in she said all is fine? I have more discharge than usual but I’ve heard that’s normal for being close to second trimester. It’s normal, clear and has no bad smell so I doubt it’s a yeast infection. I’ve never had a UTI but I think I agree with the nurse because the symptoms sound similar. Anyone experience this? Is it just irritation from the extra discharge?
