Constipation ... Help!?!

Hi fellow life givers,
I need your help! I am almost 6 weeks pregnant with my first little bean and I am having terrible constipation. I haven’t gone #2 in 5 days and I don’t know what I can take that is safe to use while pregnant. If your doctors have told you of anything that is safe to use please share!!

Colace is a gentle stool softener which works for me

Eat prunes, drink lots of water and lay off the fibre foods.

I’m having the same problem I tried benefibre that just made me feel more constipated so I don’t know what to try next

I am 28 weeks pregnant and same boat here. I am literally eating prunes, and had an appt with my doctor yesterday and asked, almost begged for some remedies. He suggested higher water intake and that I could take colace twice a day and Metamucil or another fiber supplement. I also bought cracklin oat bran to see if that helps too. I’m willing to try anything at this point.
