So my husband texted me while I was at work to let me know that our 1 year old had a blow out diaper of diarrhea. I didn’t think anything of it until I got home about an hour later & changed her diaper... There was a dark brown/red spot on the diaper where her rectum was & her rectum itself is quite red & irritated looking. It wasn’t a lot of what I’m assuming is blood. It was just enough to notice it was there.

How concerned should I be?? Does this warrant an ER trip? She is acting completely normal & has no other symptoms.
