Baby weight accurate?

Does anyone to hold the weight of the baby by alter sound and it was accurate when they give birth?

Had a scan at 37 weeks, was told about 8pound and head measuring 5 weeks ahead 😳. Induced at 39 weeks she weighed 8p15oz and her head was 2cm bigger than the average baby 🙈 so I think they were pretty close !

They induced me because my baby was supposed to be over 10lbs, she was 8.11 and it took two days on pitocin with a balloon and everything, Im kinda mad about it because it was a hard labor, she wasnt done cooking in there and my body fought the entire time because it wasnt ready. Ill never go for induction again if I can prevent it, IDC how big the ultrasound says they are. 😤

Was anyone told the babies weight during an ultrasound and it was accurate.

I was told 8.7 after an ultrasound just before a scheduled c-section. She was 10.5. Way off!

A couple days before I had my daughter, I believe they said she was 7 lbs 14 oz. When she was born, she was 7 lbs 6 oz.

They told me my daughter was measuring “normal” and would be around 7.5lbs at birth. She was 5.5lbs. Little teeny tiny thing. And still is 😂 she’s just a petite girl.

I was told if my daughter was a week overdue she would weigh 8lbs 7oz, she was born 8 days over and weighed 6lbs 10oz.

It’s been pretty close for me with all three of my children.
