Switched to Midwife
I’m so excited. Yesterday at our 16 week appointment we let the doctor know we would like to switch to see a midwife in the practice. It was hard because we didn’t want to hurt the doctors feelings as we like her a lot and if anything were to go wrong she would be great. But we feel that the midwife model of care better aligns with our beliefs about child birth and look forward to hopefully having a birth without interventions.
