Any experiences?

Any one have an experience with HELLP? One of my pregnancy apps just mentioned it and I just wanted to learn more about it and peoples experiences?

I haven’t dealt with it personally, however a good friend of mine just dealt with this back in November. 
Her baby was due Jan 19, but she had an emergency C section at the end of November. Her blood pressure had skyrocketed and wouldn’t go back down, and her liver enzymes were elevated. Baby was ok, but the threat was to Mom - her liver was essentially shutting down. 
Baby stayed in NICU for about 3 weeks because she was so tiny, but was otherwise fine. Mom remained in blood pressure medication until the beginning of January and is now doing well. 
The important thing to remember is that it is very rare. Try not to worry about it unless your Doctor has expressed concerns to you.
