ECV or C section?

So I’ve got to decide between having a c section and a ECV for tomorrow. Really leaning towards an ECV but I’m scared it will put her in distress, not really bothered if it’s uncomfortable or whatever. 
C section scares the crap out of me as it’s cones with its own risks and recovery is apparently gruelling I want to be up and about like last time. Baby’s breech by the way I am 36 weeks naughty bubs. 😫 has anyone had experience of an ECV?

My baby flipped 3 times after 36 weeks.  And probably an ecv. If you go straight to a csection then you'll never know if you could've had a natural delivery

I had the same situation and I'm 40, my husband wanted an ECV and our baby was breech. Having it done scared me and from what I read it only works %50 of the time, but a c-section scared the crap out of me as well. My OBGYN did an ultrasound and found that the placenta was near her head and having this done could tear the placenta so we decided against it. In the end we had a c-section and it wasnt as bad as I thought and the recovery wasnt horrible either. But in the end if having a vaginal birth is important to you and you want a 50% chance of it working than go for it. ;)

My daughter was also breech and I skipped the ecv  and just scheduled a c-section. There's only a 50 percent chance of it working and I've heard it hurts like hell and I didn't want to risk anything happening and having to have an emergency c-section because of the ecv causing problems.
