Best age to start TTC?

Question

I'm 19, but I have a lot going for myself and I kinda want my kids to age with me ya know. When I'm 30 they'll be 10 when I'm 40 they'll be 20. Is 19 to young to start TTC?

In my opinion yes. You may have a lot going for yourself now but I am 29 and ttc and I know that I changed and matured soooo much from 19 to 29. Everything from what I wanted in life to the men that I dated. I’m not saying wait until your 29, but I think you’ll find that even a few years from now you’ll be so different than you are today.

It really depends on your finances, relationship, and career goals. I had my son at 22, and its been pretty rough. Im stuck only working certain jobs, because i cant make enough to offset daycare costs. I love that i have the energy to do a lot of fun things with him though, a lot of physical things. Kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, coaching his soccer and gymnastics. 
It also didnt help financially that until he was 5, i was a single mom. Now that I am 30 and going to start ttc again, i feel way more prepared. I have a husband and a house and a stable job.

personally I think that's a little young. 
once you have kids there is NO going back, they are with you forever. I feel like early 20s your changing and growing and that the time to live, work hard, play, Vacation, ect. yes you can do that all with a baby too but it's much different when they come along

NO! 19 is not too young! You could be 27 and still not ready for a baby. It all depends on you, and your situation. If you want to try to conceive, then that’s your decision. 
I convinced at 19 (trying!!) and now 20 and due in July. I’m married, own a house, car, we have our shit together and we both work, and my husbands pay will allow me to stay home for a while so I can raise our baby and work part time when I’m ready.  
It honestly just depends on you! So don’t let these strangers tell you you’re still a child.

if you were financially stable, and or married, and had been in a relationship for a while and you both agree on it then go for it. my husband is 20, but i’m 23. we are married and financially stable for the most part. we have a great support system and both want kids. don’t bring a child into this world if you can’t afford to give them the life you want to, that’s my opinion. it may be harsh or whatever, but i know a 20 year old girl who just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl- except the fact that her “man” flew out another woman while she was pregnant and went and picked her up, continued to use drugs- all while she was under the impression they were getting engaged and he’s the best man ever. that girl and her mother will grow up to resent that
man because they decided to have a child even though everyone told her what was wrong with him. he will beat her if he hasn’t started already, he will keep using if he hasn’t already, he will cheat if he hasn’t already. just be smart about it. i wanted kids with my ex when i was 18-21 and man am i fucking GLAD AS HELL i didn’t get stuck with that mess, my kids and i would be miserable, broke and starving

If your financially stable and in a stable relationship then I don’t see the problem. But are you ready for the work? Having kids is work. You get off from work and go home to more work. Your free time is gone. Having babies is not all “fun” Will your boyfriend be helpful??? Do you know that for sure? Are you ready to pay for diapers wipes clothes formula if you don’t breastfeed day care which can run 100-250 a week for each child. Definitely think about those things first
