Dare I go to the ER??

My insurance doesn’t cover Urgent Care visits but I’m 26 weeks pregnant & have been having SEVERE right rib pain for WEEKS now that just keeps getting worse & is spreading....I don’t have an obgyn until next week because I left my old one this week so I’m in between doctors.
Do I do to the ER even though abdominal pain is typically something you go to Urgent care for?
My worry is my liver

If it's been weeks I don't know why you really want to go right now while you are inbetween doctors? Maybe you can call your new doctor and tell them what's going on. See if you can be seen there?

I work at the ER, abdominal pain is frequently seen. That being said-can you wait for your appt or do you feel like you can’t handle the pain anymore. What I always like to remind people is to realize who else goes to the ER—-Your exposing yourself to a ton of diseases. The other day my first 4 patients were flu, strep, and 2 hand foot and mouth. So if you need to go to the ER—-wear a mask, don’t touch anything and wash your hands if you do. Don’t leave your room unless you have to.

Might be gallbladder also. U can call l&d and talk to them as well.

It’s probably just normal pregnancy stretching. Pregnancy is lovely.

Could be gallbladder but could also be pre-eclampsia or even HELLP as they all have that pain you've described

Just call your OB and tell them what's going on and what you should do.
My ribs and back hurt soooooo bad. And groin pain(round ligament pain) but thats because everything is getting pulled and moved around.
