Is jelly discharge normal???

Hi everyone tmi sorry but has anyone had big jelly like clear discharge come out when straining on the loo? I felt i come out it was horrible. Worried me so much 😢 im 12 weeks

Yeah I have. Increased discharge is normal in pregnancy and the straining pushes it out. Sometimes it’s said you can lose small parts of your plug and it will grow back! As long as your not cramping or bleeding I wouldn’t freak too much. But you can always call midwife and ask? X

Hello. I think maybe you should call your midwife or doctor today, especially if you’re quite far into the pregnancy as depending what it is, it could be a sign that you’re going into labour, especially if there is a red/brown tint to it. Alternatively it could just be cervical mucous x
