I posted on here a few weeks ago... about the fact ive had a few scans and nobody was able to say one way or the other whether my pregnancy is a molar pregnancy or not.

I went all over the christmas and new year period unsure if our baby was gonna make it or if i would have to terminate. You see, they found cystic structures in my abnormally thickened endometrium. They tend to worry when the endometrium is 17mm or thicker. Mine was 24mm thick. The average is about 6 to 8mm. Inside that, lay cysts which looked like a partial molar pregnancy. A partial molar is where 2 sperm fertilise 1 egg. The baby cannot survive and in rare circumstances you can develop cancer from it.

I had scans at 6, 8 and 10 weeks trying to find out what was happening. Nobody could give us an answer.

I had my 12 week scan yesterday. Was fully expecting a missed miscarrjage to be honest.

Nope. Live baby. no fucking cysts! Theyve gone!! Its a miracle i swear! They think what the cysts were may have been an early miscarriage of the babys twin and the cysts were the embryo being reabsorbed, i have 2 lobes in the placenta too.

I got this photo, its really too dark to make a good pic out of it but im absolutely thrilled.
