Is 37 weeks too far along to change obgyns?

I had to switch ob’s because mine is moving to a different clinic that didn’t deliver at a hospital near me. I seen the new one today and hated the way she acted toward her patients and she made me feel uncomfortable then when I got home I read her reviews and they were bad as well. Is 37 weeks too far along to change doctors?

Most offices wont accept your switch after your 2nd trimester, but if you find one that will then by all means do what makes you feel comfortable! I couldn't imagine having a doctor that I wasnt comfortable with!

You should feel confident in the doctor that will deliver your baby. It might be hard to find one this late, but you should try if you don’t like the one you’re seeing now.

A lot of offices don’t like it, but if you explain the situation, they’ll probably be a lot more accepting of accepting a patient that late! 
Just say your doc left your area and you need a new one!

I had to change mine around 32 weeks or a lil less due to insurance changes. I think the office kind of wondered why so late but everything went well. So I think you should try and due what makes you feel comfortable
