Bilirubin treatment

I have the bilisoft pad that emits blu light to help my LO get rid of her jaundice. I always do it when she is sleeping. Also I put her in indirect sunlight, again when she is sleeping. Should I be protecting her eyes??? I figure her eyes are closed but I am not for sure😬 anybody know about this? Please and thank you!!!
